FOR PATIENT ORGANISATIONS & POTENTIAL SPONSORS

Help make room
for more voices.

Preparing for a healthcare appointment is a skill. Some of us learn it from a parent or through years of experience. Others are working it out for the first time.

Room to Say is being built to make that preparation easier: a place for people to gather what they want to explain, remember, and ask.

A project with a personal starting point

Our founder, Max, was diagnosed with ankylosing spondylitis at seventeen. His parents taught him to arrive at appointments with questions and notes about how he had been feeling. That habit is the starting point for Room to Say.

Ways to get involved

Help shape the experience

Bring perspectives from your community to help us understand the realities of preparing for appointments, especially for younger people, people with long-term conditions, and carers.

Introduce it to your community

Explore sharing the project through your community channels when it is ready and you have had an opportunity to assess its suitability.

Explore development sponsorship

Discuss support for development and making the project available to more people. The scope, recognition, and terms of any sponsorship would be agreed explicitly.

Trust comes first

The project’s purpose is to support preparation and communication. It does not recommend particular medicines or provide medical advice. Any future sponsors or partner relationships will be clearly identified.

No charity, healthcare organisation, or pharmaceutical company is presented on this website as an existing partner or endorser.
